I remember back in 1990 when I first experienced the inside of an office. One of my close relatives was a manager at a subsidiary of a Plc in London. He would invite me over to help out. The company focused on the design and installations of glass facades manufactured by the Danish Company Vitral.
I just got a facebook update and hit the roof. Wow, I know that person. She is now a Top 30 Euro Female Tech Entrepreneur. I first met Alyona Victoria a year or so ago at King’s College, London. She wanted to take part in their Post Graduate Business Planning Competition. She was looking to help kids become more entrepreneurial. Her project Acorn Aspirations wanted to help school kids become entrepreneurs. I invited her to the Business Mentoring Meet Up group I have organise for as part the CSR of www.bizstuff.co .
I have supported Post Graduates and Staff from King’s College, London, with their Business Planning for over 5 years now. We usually come together during their annual Lion’s Den Competition. Every year I have worked with Lawyers, Doctors, Teachers, Scientists and other trained professionals. The most common concern has been “ How do we organise ourselves as a business without compromising our professional integrity?”.
