Over the years I have supported born global companies scale up in the EU. This entailed helping them generate internal capacity. I have mentored Professionals via King’s College, London, and the Business Mentoring MeetUp group for over 5 years. I have supported not for profits organise themselves. I have worked with entrepreneurs on 4 different continents. Currently, I am co creating a new business and a new product with different entrepreneurs on 2 different continents. After a few projects I found I was repeating myself. I could not put my finger on why? Till one day I realised I was spending more time repeating myself than on understanding the tacit needs of my clients. The aspects of the project that are replicable now get automated as much as possible.
I remember back in 1990 when I first experienced the inside of an office. One of my close relatives was a manager at a subsidiary of a Plc in London. He would invite me over to help out. The company focused on the design and installations of glass facades manufactured by the Danish Company Vitral.
I have supported Post Graduates and Staff from King’s College, London, with their Business Planning for over 5 years now. We usually come together during their annual Lion’s Den Competition. Every year I have worked with Lawyers, Doctors, Teachers, Scientists and other trained professionals. The most common concern has been “ How do we organise ourselves as a business without compromising our professional integrity?”.
